Nadia Yassine took part in the 4th European Social Forum, held in Athens from May 4-7, 2006
Editorial staff, May 09, 2006
More than 1,000 Union, antiglobalization, leftist, militant and activist organizations took part in Athens in the 277 seminars of the 4th European Social Forum (ESF) that took place in the Greek capital from May 4-7.
The ESF is an open space where groups and movements of the civil society that are opposed to neo-liberalism and resolved to build a society centered on the human being meet to deepen their reflections, discuss their ideas, formulate their proposals, share their experience freely and join together to perform concrete actions.
This year again, the favorite subjects were about reinforcing solidarity between the people of earth who struggle against wars, globalization and the policies of wild liberalism.
Nadia Yassine took part, among other activities, in a seminar on Islamophobia.
